Gray Digital Ink LLC · www.clarrydevigri.com

Effective Date: September 21, 2026

We are glad you’re interested in Clarry de’Vigri’s books. Protecting your personal data is a priority for Gray Digital Ink LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). You can browse this website without providing any personal data; however, if you contact us or join our email list, some processing of personal data may become necessary.

This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through this specific website — www.clarrydevigri.com — how we use it, and what rights you have regarding it. We process personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for visitors in the EU/EEA, and consistent with applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

We’ve implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we process, but no Internet-based transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure.

1. Definitions

This policy uses terminology drawn from the GDPR:

  • Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (a “data subject”).
  • Processing: any operation performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, or disclosure.
  • Restriction of processing: marking stored personal data to limit its future processing.
  • Profiling: automated processing of personal data used to evaluate or predict aspects of a person, such as their interests or behavior.
  • Pseudonymisation: processing personal data so it can no longer be attributed to a specific person without additional, separately-held information.
  • Controller: the entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data — in this case, Gray Digital Ink LLC.
  • Processor: a natural or legal person that processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
  • Recipient: a person or body to which personal data is disclosed, whether a third party or not.
  • Third party: a person or body other than the data subject, controller, or processor.
  • Consent: any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of a data subject’s wishes, by which they agree to the processing of their personal data.

3. Cookies and Information Collected Automatically

Cookies. This website uses cookies — small text files stored by your browser — to help the site function properly, remember preferences, and support the analytics tools described below. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so may limit some site functionality.

Server log data. When you visit this website, our server automatically collects general data such as browser type and version, operating system, the site you came from (referrer), the pages you visit, the date and time of access, your IP address, and your Internet service provider. This information is used to deliver the site correctly, keep it secure, and understand overall traffic patterns. It is not used to identify you individually and is stored separately from any personal data you provide directly.

4. Third-Party Links and Amazon Purchases

This website contains links to Amazon.com where you can purchase Clarry de’Vigri’s books, including Amazon Attribution and/or Amazon Associates tracking links. These links may allow Amazon to record that you arrived from our website and, where applicable, allow us to see aggregated, anonymized information about the referral (such as click-through and conversion data) — we do not receive your personal purchase details.

Any purchase you make happens entirely on Amazon’s site and is governed by Amazon’s own privacy policy and terms, not ours. We do not process payments, collect payment information, or control Amazon’s checkout experience.

5. Email List

If you choose to join our email list, we collect the email address (and any other information you voluntarily provide, such as your name) through MailerLite, a third-party email marketing platform operated by UAB “MailerLite,” Paupio g. 46, Vilnius, Lithuania. MailerLite stores this data on our behalf and sends our emails.

We use your email address to send you updates about new releases, promotions, and related content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email you receive, or by contacting us directly. We do not sell or share your email list data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. MailerLite’s own privacy practices are described at https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.

6. Analytics

Google Analytics. If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses; by default it uses your IP only briefly, for approximate location, before discarding it. Data is transmitted to and stored by Google in the United States. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google’s privacy practices are described at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Jetpack. If this site runs the Jetpack plugin for WordPress, operated by Automattic Inc. (132 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), Jetpack Stats may collect your IP address, browser user agent, the page visited, the referring page, the date and time, your browser’s language, and your general country location, to give us an overview of site traffic. Automattic’s privacy practices are described at https://automattic.com/privacy/.

7. Future Advertising Tools

We may add advertising tracking tools to this site in the future, such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure and improve the effectiveness of our marketing. If and when we do, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe what data is collected and how it’s used before that tool goes live.

8. Legal Basis for Processing and Data Retention

Where we rely on the GDPR as a legal basis, our processing of personal data is grounded in: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), where you’ve agreed to it, such as by joining our email list or allowing cookies; and our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in understanding and improving this website and marketing our books, balanced against your privacy rights.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Server log and analytics data is generally retained for a limited period before being deleted or aggregated; email list data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on visitors.

9. Your Rights Under the GDPR

If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Confirmation and access: ask whether we’re processing your personal data, and get a copy of it.
  • Rectification: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”): ask us to delete your data where it’s no longer needed, you withdraw consent, or it was processed unlawfully.
  • Restriction of processing: ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, and have it transferred to another controller where technically feasible.
  • Object: object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including for direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent: withdraw any consent you’ve given us at any time, without affecting processing that already took place.
  • Lodge a complaint: file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section below.

10. Additional Information

Children’s privacy. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

U.S. state privacy laws. Some U.S. states, including Oregon, have their own comprehensive privacy laws (e.g., the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act). These generally apply only to businesses processing data at a much larger scale than this site, so they likely don’t apply to Gray Digital Ink LLC directly today — but we’ve followed similar principles here as good practice, and this may be revisited as the business or the law changes.

Changes to this policy. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the “Effective Date” above will be updated accordingly.
